Carpenter Boot Company

At Carpenter Boot Company, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Eligible items may be returned if you contact us within five (5) business days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.

Eligible Returns

To qualify for a return, products must:

  • Be unused and in original condition
  • Be returned in the original packaging
  • Include all original tags, seals, accessories, and documentation
  • Not show signs of wear, use, damage, or alteration
  • Not have been modified, customized, heat molded, punched, stretched, baked, or altered in any way
  • Not have had blades mounted, attached, or removed
  • Not have been skated on, worn outdoors, or otherwise used
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase or order confirmation

Any product that has been modified in any manner is strictly ineligible for return. Custom-made, made-to-order, or personalized products are final sale and non-returnable.

Products that do not meet these requirements may be refused and returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

Return Authorization

Customers must contact us within five (5) business days of delivery to request return authorization via the website contact form.
Unauthorized returns may be refused and returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the product arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect due to our error.
For the first size exchange: Carpenter Boot Company will pay for the reshipment of the new boots (US domestic orders only). International customers pay all reshipment costs.
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as Carpenter Boot Company is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged return shipments.

International Orders

For international orders, customers are responsible for all shipping costs, duties, taxes, customs fees, brokerage fees, and import charges associated with both the original shipment and any returned merchandise.
International returns must be clearly marked on the label and all documents as “Return of Goods” (not a sale) to avoid import duties being charged to us. Customers are responsible for all additional costs incurred by the return.
If Carpenter Boot Company or Speed Skating Equipment, LLC incurs any customs charges, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or other import-related costs, those amounts may be deducted from any eligible refund.

Restocking Fees

A 5% restocking fee applies to all web shop returns for change of mind. This covers inspection, processing, repackaging, and reinventory costs. Minimizing unnecessary returns helps us keep our high-quality products affordable and competitively priced.

Refunds

Once the returned product is received and inspected, approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within a reasonable processing period.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom boots or made-to-order products
  • Heat molded or otherwise modified products
  • Products with blades mounted, attached, or removed
  • Products that have been skated on or used
  • Worn or damaged products
  • Products missing original packaging, tags, or accessories
  • Final sale or clearance items marked as non-returnable

Damaged or Incorrect Products

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within five (5) days of delivery with photographs and order details so we may assist you.

Wholesale / Dealer Orders

Wholesale, dealer, team, club, and other business-to-business (B2B) purchases may be subject to separate return, exchange, and warranty terms and conditions.
